Though it can be repetitive when it comes to technical explanations of the physiology of death (all the better to only reproduce one chapter and still understand!), this is all in all an interesting book that will appeal to both those interested in forensics, and the history of forensics, and those who like true crime stories. After reading, I want to become one of the thousands who donates her body to the Body Farm - under explicit instructions that the experiment done on my body is that it's mummified in the trunk of a car, of course.
