Ages 12+ (fade to black virginity loss) Sixteen year old fat girl Hayley escapes overbearing, calorie counting SoCal mom to spend summer in Italy with mom's old college roomie. The romance is tepid, the outlook change is solid but predictable. Chick lit that engrosses while the pages fly, but easily forgettable. Try a Maureen Johnson or Carpe Diem for a teen girl travel experience with more depth.
